DENVER — Police in Denver and Aurora are investigating four separate shootings that left five people wounded over the weekend.
The two shootings in Denver occurred Saturday in and near the city’s Green Valley Ranch neighborhood. Two shootings in Aurora occurred Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
The first shooting took place in the 18000 block of East 71st Avenue, according to a tweet sent at 2:19 a.m. Saturday from the Denver Police Department.
The victim self-transported to the hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The second shooting wounded two people and occurred sometime Saturday afternoon in the 14000 block of East 52nd Avenue in Denver.
The two adult victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The third shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Aurora. Police said a 17-year-old boy was shot in the 2300 block of North Chambers Road and transported himself to the hospital with minor injuries.
The fourth shooting happened early Sunday morning in the 17000 block of East Iowa Drive in Aurora. A woman was shot and seriously wounded but she is expected to survive, according to the Aurora Police Department.
No arrests were made, and no other details were available in connection with the four shootings.
