UPDATE at 11:13 a.m. on Saturday: Denver police say the the male victim wounded in the shooting on West Kentucky Ave. has died. A homicide investigation is now underway.
DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating two separate shootings that sent two people to the hospital Friday night. No arrests have been made at this time.
The first shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Kentucky Avenue. A male victim was wounded in that incident.
About an hour later, police responded to second shooting in the 2900 block of West Cedar Avenue. Police say one victim taken to the hospital. Their condition is not known.
Police have yet to release information on any suspects at this time.
The circumstances of both shootings are still under investigation.
No other details were immediately available.
