BOULDER, Colo. — Police in Boulder announced Thursday the arrest of two suspects in connection with an armed bank robbery last month.
Daniel Donnellan and his alleged accomplice, Lorenza Brugnatelli, both 33, were arrested Wednesday in the 500 block of Grandview Avenue in Boulder.
According to a release from the Boulder Police Department, an armed Donnellan robbed a Wells Fargo branch, located at 1420 Canyon Blvd., on July 11.
During his getaway police say he threw a bag of cash into the window of a vehicle police believe was driven by Brugnatelli.
The events that led to the arrests are unknown. Police have released few details about the investigation.
Donnellan is facing a felony charge of aggravated robbery; Brugnatelli is facing a complicity aggravated robbery charge.
