2 assault suspects sought in Boulder after attacking woman while she slept, police say

BOULDER, Colo. – Police need your help to bring two assault suspects to justice after they reportedly broke into a Boulder home overnight.

The home invasion and assault took place in the area of Harvard Lane and Dartmouth Avenue between 1 and 3 a.m. Saturday.

“Two suspects entered the home and began assaulting the victim who was asleep in bed,” said Boulder police spokesperson Shannon Cordingly.

Both suspects in the attack are described as masked men wearing all black.

Police said the suspects possibly left in an unknown Colorado sport utility vehicle, but would not specify a direction.

The victim in the attack sustained serious head injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Boulder Community Health.

Anyone with information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to call the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-3333. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Tips may also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
