COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Two men are in custody on murder and accessory to murder charges for a deadly stabbing that happened Sunday afternoon.
Police say they found a man with stab wound at a local mobile home park about 3 a.m. Sunday. The victim died at the scene.
About 6 miles away, police say a person they wanted to talk to about the stabbing got into a standoff inside a home.
The standoff ended about 11:25 a.m. with the person's surrender.
Police on Monday said that man arrested in the standoff was Jason Kover, 35, of Colorado Springs. He was arrested on first-degree murder charges.
Police also arrested Michael Adkisson, 33, of Colorado Springs, for accessory to first-degree murder charges.
Police say the investigation into the murder is ongoing. It is the 12th of the year so far in Colorado Springs, which had just one at this time last year.
