DENVER – A person is dead and another was injured following a shooting in the Park Hill area of Denver Thursday night.
The shooting was reported at around 8:30 p.m. in the area of East Thrill Place and Forest Street.
The Denver Police Department originally said officers found two victims with gunshot wounds who were taken to a hospital for treatment.
About an hour later, they said one of the victims had died. The other victim was listed as stable.
Police said the shooting took place near Thrill and Forest and the victims then drove to the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard, where they got medical help. The passenger of the car died and the driver was taken to the hospital.
No suspect information, as well as information as to what caused the shooting, was immediately available. Police have not identified either of the victims.
