DENVER — We all know recycling is an important thing to do to help the environment. With stay-at-home orders, more waste is being created and, in turn, more potential for recycling.

Waste Management is urging people to recycle, and recycle right, because of a shortage of raw material to produce packaging, paper products and medical supplies.

"Customers who are making the medical supplies or making a tissue don't have the raw materials," said Mark Snedecor, director of Waste Management's recycling operations for Colorado.
