DENVER — Events are returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer — but not concerts, city officials announced Tuesday.

The venue's fitness series will resume in July, with events capped at 175 attendees and COVID-19 safety guidelines required. This includes Yoga on the Rocks and the Quarantine 15 Fitness Challenge.

Both events are $17 per session and begin July 10.

In September, the four-week SnowShape fitness series will return to Red Rocks, also at $17 per session.

Red Rocks is only offering online ticket purchases for a contactless experience. Attendees "may be subject to safety protocols including temperature screenings and use of masks per local rules," the Red Rocks website said.

Face coverings have been required in the amphitheatre this summer, though no events have been held. Concerts scheduled at Red Rocks during the pandemic were either cancelled or pushed to 2021.
