DENVER — Every business is feeling a pinch right now. Some are reinventing themselves. Others are even trying to take what they have and use it to serve the community.

Armando Jacox of Foothills Roofing just bought a van for his supply manager for business use. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and he thought of a different purpose for it.

"What else can we do? What else can we offer our community to help out here? So, it hit me all of a sudden. I said, 'why don't we repurpose the van and do delivery runs free of charge,'" Foothills Roofing owner Armando Jacox said.

They started making deliveries on Thursday. Jacox hired two drivers for the van and said he hopes to partner with local food pantries as well to get food out to those who need it.
