COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A theft at a Colorado Springs Walgreens store did not go as planned for four suspects who remain on the run Thursday afternoon.
Officers were sent to the area of Flintridge Drive and Academy Boulevard North at around 4:17 a.m. Thursday after an alarm went off at Walgreens.
Investigators were able to determine that the four male suspects -- only described as measuring between 5-feet-10 and 6-feet-1 tall -- went inside the Walgreens and tried to remove an ATM machine from inside the store.
Their attempts were unsuccessful and all of them were able to leave the scene of the crime before police arrived. The suspects remain at-large.
Police are also looking for a white van.
