Colorado Springs police arrested a man on suspicion for DUI after he allegedly hit an ambulance, causing it to flip.
The crash happened Wednesday night at the intersection of Uintah and Institute in Colorado Springs.
Officers said the AMR ambulance had its lights and siren activated when it was hit by a vehicle that ran the stop sign.
"The force of the impact spun the ambulance in a counter-clockwise direction and it flipped on its side," Colorado Springs police said.
The ambulance did not have a patient inside.
The driver of the vehicle and two ambulance employees were treated and released at a nearby hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, Marvin Brown, was arrested on DUI and other traffic charges.
