COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Four people will face trial on murder charges in connection with a Colorado Springs home invasion in which a 28-year-old woman was shot and killed in front of her 5-year-old son.

A judge determined there was enough evidence to charge three men and one woman in the fatal shooting of Courtney Beaudette, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette. The suspects, ages 18 through 20, have been ordered held without bond and are scheduled for an arraignment next month.

They are Matthew Robert Moore, Jr., 19, Dylan Michael Peters, 18, Michael Ryan Brown, 20, and Shayanna Breann Burton, 19, according to KRDO-TV.

All four suspects face first degree murder charges.

The male suspects are accused of breaking into Beaudette's apartment on June 1.

Prosecutors say the group had entered the home after the female suspect told them she had been hurt by a man who lived at the residence.

Court documents show Beaudette was shot in front of her 5-year-old son. The boy was not hurt.
