COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A man accused of sneaking into his ex-wife's home, attacking her and kidnapping their child was arrested in Colorado Springs, police said.
Officers said 22-year-old Daniel Rocha got into his ex-wife's home in Denver Tuesday through an open window.
He took their two-year-old child, police said.
Police tracked Rocha to Colorado Springs on Wednesday.
"The Denver-based FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force coordinated with the Colorado Springs-based FBI Southern Colorado Violent Gang Safe Streets Task Force and through a family member eventually obtained the safe return of the child," Colorado Springs police said.
After the child was returned, Rocha was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and burglary, police said.
