A suspect is in custody following a standoff with Colorado Springs police who were investigating a fatal stabbing.
Police say the stabbing occurred early Saturday, when they were called to investigate a complaint about a disturbance in the area of East St. Vrain Street and East Hills Road. A short time later, a stabbing victim was taken to a hospital where he died.
Police located a suspect in a residence and the suspect refused to come out. The suspect later surrendered and was arrested.
The names of the suspect and victim are not being released.
