COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A missing child who police said may not have been properly dressed for the weather has been found by Colorado Springs police officers.
Police reported Omar Lopez-Meredith, 11, went missing in the area of Atherton Way and Centennial Boulevard some time before 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
The police department tweeted at around 4:30 p.m. that the child had been found by officers. The condition in which the child was found was not released.

Temperatures are expected to dip to near zero in Colorado Springs overnight.
