Sterling police say an older, Colorado couple was found safe Tuesday night after they went missing on a road trip to Missouri.

Police did not immediately say where Jerry Marshall, 77, and his wife Patricia Marshall,72, had been located.

The couple left Sterling, Colorado, early Saturday morning. They were last seen near Topeka, Kansas.

The Marshalls were driving to Seymour, Missouri, in a gold 2012 Chevy Impala with Colorado license plate # 288-ZRX.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigations said both Jerry and Patricia have signs of dementia and forgot to take their cellphone and personal belongings with them.
