Everybody knows about New Kids on the Block, but what about “Best House on the Block?” Alas, that’s not what Jonathan Knight’s new HGTV show is called, but that’s the gist of it.

The boy-band member makes his HGTV debut on March 3 on “Farmhouse Fixer,” a new series that will share Knight’s overhaul of an 18th century New Hampshire farmhouse. The show was first announced in 2018, so fans have been patiently waiting to see Knight on screen doing what he loves most (besides performing): home renovation. So far, Knight has restored more than 200 properties.

He still performs with the rest of NKOTB — which consists of Knight’s younger brother Jordan, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood — and the band’s Twitter page proudly shared the details for “Farmhouse Fixer.”

“Restoring the American farmhouse is not just a hobby for me — it’s my passion, my obsession and I’ve been doing it for more than 25 years,” Knight said in an HGTV press release, per People. “It’s so easy to just go knock down an old house. It’s way harder to renovate them so that families can enjoy them for years to come. That’s the reason this work is so worth it.”

The HGTV Twitter page also promoted the series on Jan. 28, announcing that there’s “a new show on the HGTV block!”

NKOTB delighted fans when they got back together in 2008 (they initially went their separate ways in 1995 after their fourth studio release). They released a new album, “The Block,” and toured in 2019, performing in 53 cities.

In 2016, the band also appeared on “Fuller House,” Netflix’s reboot of “Full House,” just to add yet more ’90s nostalgia to a TV series that already includes many references to that halcyon era.

Also in 2016, Knight confirmed his engagement to personal trainer Harley Rodriguez on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM radio show. (FYI, McCarthy is married to Knight’s bandmate, Donnie Wahlberg.)

“We were in Africa, our parents were there — our moms were there — and I just figured this was the time to pop the question,” Knight said, per Entertainment Tonight. “We’ve always considered ourselves a married couple.”

You can catch the premiere of the six-episode “Farmhouse Fixer” series on Wednesday, March 3 at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV.
