‘Tis almost the season … for a festive Netflix binge. For 2020, the streaming platform is pulling out all the stops, and their holiday and Christmas movie schedule is bigger and better than ever. To whet your appetite, here are some of the Netflix Original movies on offer.

“Holidate” (Available Oct. 28)

First up is the romantic comedy “Holidate,” starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey as two holiday-hating singletons who agree to be each other’s “platonic” holiday dates over the course of a year. Does it stay strictly platonic? You’ll have to watch to find out.

Here’s Netflix’s tweet featuring the film’s trailer:

“Operation Christmas Drop” (Available Nov. 5)

If you’re a fan of cheesy Hallmark holiday movies, you’ll love “Operation Christmas Drop.”  The rom-com centers around congressional aide Erica Miller (Kat Graham), who is sent across the Pacific Ocean to decide if an Air Force base should lose its funding. But her guide, Captain Andrew Jantz (Alexander Ludwig), throws more than a couple of spanners in the works.

Here’s Netflix’s trailer, available on Twitter:

“The Princess Switch: Switched Again” (Available Nov. 19)

“The Princess Switch: Switched Again” picks up where the first installment, “The Princess Switch,” left off in 2018. Vanessa Hudgens is back as Margaret Delacourt and Stacy DeNovo – and there’s another lookalike, Duchess Margaret’s wild-child cousin Fiona, in the mix. A lot of work for Hudgens — a lot of fun for us.

Netflix posted some images from the sequel recently to Facebook:

“The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two” (Available Nov. 25)

After the success of 2018’s “The Christmas Chronicles,” which brought Hollywood’s cutest real-life couple together on the small screen, a sequel is no surprise. “The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two” brings back old St. Nick (Kurt Douglas) and his wife (Goldie Hawn) for more holiday-saving action. This time around, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy (Judah Lewis) try to keep the North Pole (and therefore Santa) out of serious danger.
