Fort Worth, Texas police confirmed that Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was involved in a recent domestic altercation in the Texas city.

A representative from the police department said Manziel was not arrested, and police was working to gather more information.

The Fort Worth incident was not Manziel's first domestic altercation. Manziel was pulled over in Avon, Ohio in October following a domestic incident.

The Dallas Police Department made the following statement to Scripps station WEWS in Cleveland:

The Dallas Police Department has been notified by the Fort Worth Police Department of a possible offense that may have occurred within the Dallas city limits. We are in the preliminary stages of the investigation and have no further information at this time. When additional information becomes available it will be released as appropriate.

Sashi Brown, the team's newly appointed vice president of football operations, said last week that the team is "not in any panic to make any decision one way or another on him."

Manziel did not attend the team's season finale against Pittsburgh. The QB was out with a concussion at the time, but Manziel skipped a mandated medical treatment at the team's facility. Reports from Las Vegas reported that Manziel was in Nevada during the Browns' closing weekend.
