At least 50 Colorado locations giving out free Solar Eclipse resources

DENVER — With the August Great American Solar Eclipse fast approaching, there are dozens of ways to find needed resources like glasses, guides and expertise. 

Nearly 50 libraries, businesses and community centers have stocked up on solar eclipse viewing glasses in Colorado. Check out each below and find the location nearest you.

Note: Some of these locations may be offering free glasses only on the day of the eclipse, and as of the week of Aug. 14, many of these locations have run out of glasses. 

  • Regis University's Denver Campus (More than 1,500 glasses) 
  • Denver Museum of Nature and Science (On Aug. 21) — As of Aug. 16, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science had run out of eclipses viewing glasses. You can check out their website for other free resources.
