Denver issued its largest marijuana product recall yet on Wednesday. Almost 100,000 packages of edibles are affected.
Mountain High Suckers voluntarily recalled the pieces because of potentially unsafe pesticide that was found in samples.
The recall affects 99,574 individual units of 50 different medical products and six different recreational products. The recalled products are marijuana-infused suckers, lozenges, and powdered candy (POW). The recalled products were derived from contaminated plant material purchased from Western Remedies and Rocky Mountain Farmacy, two cultivation facilities in Denver.
The edibles tested positive for imidacloprid and myclobutanil, both of which are banned.
This makes for 15 recalls in the last four months. The products should be thrown out or returned.
