Free ice skating
The Southwest Rink at Skyline Park on Denver's 16th Street Mall offers free ice skating until February 15. Skating is free, if you bring your own skates. Skate rental is $2. Thanks to Dyanne for this tip.
Denver Carousel
Denver Pavilions on the 16th Street Mall has a holiday carousel. Rides are normally $3, but if you bring a canned food donation, or a receipt showing you've made a purchase at any Denver Pavillions store, you can ride for free. The carousel is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Dec 23.
Colorado Symphony 4-pack
See the Colorado Symphony's Pixar in Concert for $20, if you buy four tickets. Use Promo Code WOODY to unlock a family 4-pack for four $20 tickets to "Pixar In Concert." Limitations & fees apply. Expires Dec. 22. The show is January 15 and 16.
iFLY
Have you ever wanted to try indoor flying/skydiving? iFLY Denver is offering a buy-one-get one 50% off special on gift certificates through December 31. iFLY is a wind tunnel that lets people of all ages "fly." Get a free game rental at Redbox every Wednesday in December. It's a great way to try out a game before you buy it. Discounted pet adoptions
The Aurora Animal Shelter is offering a “Home for the Holidays” adoption special. Dogs and cats 6 years and older are free. Dogs and cats under 6 years of age are 50 percent off ($80 for puppies under 6 months, $69.50 for dogs 6 months-6 years, $51 for kittens under 6 months and $42.50 for kittens 6 months to 6 years). Offer ends Dec. 24.

Free dental care
Comfort Dentalwill once again offer free dental care on December 24 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. The annual care day is open to anyone on a first-come, first-served basis. Check with your local location to see what services they are offering.
