Then don't miss the annual Colorado Garden & Home Show flower sale.
On Wednesday (Feb. 17), the fading flowers will be removed from the gardens at the Colorado Garden & Home Show and replaced.
The old flowers are sold for $2 per pot with the proceeds going to the Arvada Rotary.
Most of the potted flowers are perennials and will add color to your home for a few days. You can save the bulbs and plant them in your garden in a few weeks.
The sale starts at the Colorado Convention Center at noon. It ends when the last pot is gone. The sale typically lasts about an hour.
Bring cash, because they don't take credit cards.
If you want to see the Garden & Home Show, I recommend going Thursday for 2FER DAY. All admission to the show is TWO for the price of ONE.
