Six history museums in Colorado will offer free admission to kids this summer:
- Byers-Evans House Museum, Denver
- El Pueblo History Museum, Pueblo
- Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center, Fort Garland
- Fort Vasquez Museum, Platteville
- Healy House and Dexter Cabin, Leadville
- Trinidad History Museum, Trinidad
The free admission offer is for kids 18 and under and runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
"From historic homes to adobe forts, Community Museums document the stories of Colorado’s incredible history throughout the state," History Colorado officials said.
"Each museum offers a different learning experience that encourage kids to learn Colorado’s history through hands-on activities and engaging content,” stated Director of Community Museums Dawn DiPrince.

Note: Only these six museums are offering free kids admission. Other History Colorado museums are not offering free admission for kids.
