DENVER – ‘Aint no mountain high enough!’ was how Shake Shack announced it was coming to Denver earlier this month, but the company did not say exactly where in Denver it would be – until now.
The New York-based burger joint is planning to open its “Mile-High Shack” in the area of 30th and Larimer Streets in the RiNo Arts District, according to BusinessDen.
Littleton Capital Partners was the first tenant that signed for a $12 million retail and office development space in the area, BusinessDen reports.
Besides their Shake Shack classics, “there will be frozen custard concretes featuring local Denver food purveyors,” the website states in a press release.
Work on the site is expected to begin in February or March, but the location won’t officially open until late 2017.
