DENVER – Beer lovers, rejoice! You now have one more place to cool off when the summer heat strikes in Denver during the next several months.
Skyline Park, off Arapahoe between 16th Street and 17th Street has been transformed into a beer garden.
The transformation is part of the Downtown Denver Summer Mix, a series of programs and initiatives designed to get people to enjoy downtown’s public spaces.
The beer garden offers 12 different brews on tap and also serves up locally-made brats, house-ground burgers, fresh salads and German pretzels with dipping sauces.
The beer garden itself is a 40,000-square foot outdoor area with vast open air and tented seating that will feature live music every Friday and Saturday. The garden can sit more than 350 guests and yes, free WiFi is available.
“The Beer Garden is also host to Skyline Park Games, a family-friendly area with ping pong, a nine-hole miniature golf course and cornhole.
The Skyline Beer Garden is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily (weather permitting) until October 7.
