National Cookie Day: 7 places you can indulge your sweet tooth with free and discounted treats

It's National Cookie Day on Tuesday, December 4 and tons of places are celebrating the sweet treat with deals and discounts.

Here's a roundup of some places you can indulge your sweet tooth.

Insomnia Cookies: The only thing better than eating cookies is eating cookies way past your bedtime. And that's where Insomnia Cookies shines. The night owl-friendly cookie depository is offering patrons a free traditional cookie in-store on December 4.

And if that deal isn't sweet enough, you can also enter to win free cookies for a year. But do it soon — the contest closes December 10.

Mrs. Fields: Score a free cookie with any purchase on December 4.

Nestle Toll House Cafe: Stop by any location on National Cookie Day and you can get three free cookies with the purchase of three classic cookies.

Great American Cookies: Cookies are delicious, but they taste extra yummy when they're free. GAC is offering customers a free chocolate chip cookie at participating locations on National Cookie Day.

DoubleTree by Hilton: If you're feeling brazen and not at all self-conscious about walking up to a hotel and demanding free food, this deal is for you. The hotel is giving out free complimentary cookies at all 357 locations in the U.S. on December 4.

Schlotsky's: Get a free cookie with the purchase of any entree on December 4. Entrees include sandwiches, salads, pizza and flatbreads.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse: OK, imagine a cookie, but it's bigger, squishier and hot right out of the oven. That's pretty much BJ's take on the classic treat with their infamous Pizookies. And you can snag one for a reduced price of $3 on Tuesdays. So it's not technically a National Cookie Day deal, but it's still a deal on a cookie.
