At Jim’s Burger Haven, they’re still making burgers the same way they did in 1961

THORNTON, Colo. — Take a step back in time and enjoy an old-school burger at Jim’s Burger Haven in Thornton.

Jim Moser started grilling up burgers with a food cart at Lakeside Amusement Park in 1961, and though times have changed, the technique hasn’t.

The grills are still the same and they’re still turning out 6-inch smash burgers, fries, shakes and more.

Jim loved cars and Jim’s still does two car shows a year. The dates for these can be found on their Facebook page here.
