DENVER – It’s feeling more like summer each day here in the metro area and that can only mean one thing: It’s time to get out and go on a scavenger hunt!

Denver offers at least 17 different challenges for adventure seekers, thanks to Urban Adventure Quest. There’s also four additional challenges you can participate in.

The scavenger hunt, however, is pretty much centered around spots in downtown Denver.

“Your amazing scavenger hunt adventure begins at the Capitol building and takes you on a journey through art and culture, among shops of the 16th St. Mall and down through courtyards and buildings steeped in rich Denver history,” Urban Adventure Quest’s website states.

How it works

Smartphone clues lead you on a fun and engaging walking tour of the Mile High City, and optional hints make it easy for you to complete challenges by working together to solve secrets of the city.

The more challenges you complete, the higher the score you get – competing with friends and family or, really, complete strangers who are also going on a hunt.

Ultimately, the goal is to discover things you didn’t know about Denver and have fun while doing so.
