Colorado photographer helping senior pets find forever homes

Posted

DENVER – Finding a new home for a newborn pup isn’t really that hard, but the same can’t be said for the older generations, which is why a Colorado photographer is stepping in to help.

“Seniors are a little ragged sometimes, a little rough around the edges; they’re tired, stressed,” said Ariane DelaFosse Uhll, owner of DelaFoto Pet Photography. “With professional photography we can bring out their best features, make them look beautiful.”

Which is exactly what Uhll is doing.

She is working alongside Cayleb's Kindred Senior Dog Rescue, which specializes in finding loving, forever homes for older dogs and cats in Colorado.

Cayleb's Kindred Senior Dog Rescue also has sanctuary dogs that need to be cared for.

“Adoption photos go a long way to help get these pets noticed,” Uhll told Denver7.

Uhll added all she wants to do is help dogs – and pets – in general and hopes that photographing them will help them get adopted.
