DENVER -- Theresa Marchetta says she wants to move in to Lulu’s Furniture & Décor. The shop is run by a mother and daughter team and is featured in the current issue of 5280 Home which is all about outdoor entertaining.

“It’s everything from recipes to how to set a beautiful table to how to accessorize an outdoor space,” editor Hilary Oswald told Denver7’s Theresa Marchetta.

Lulu’s is featured in an article on different table setting options. Oswald says hurricane candles are inexpensive and add an instant upgrade to your table, as do colorful containers for things like water and tea.

“Even if setting a beautiful table isn’t in your wheelhouse, you can steal these ideas and set a pretty table for your families or friends,” Oswald said.

Oswald also says that homeowners shouldn’t be afraid of ordering custom furniture for outside or inside their homes. She says you just need to shop around.

“Often custom pieces can be the same price or even less expensive than off the shelf pieces and you get exactly what you want, exactly the right size and you keep it for longer because it’s the thing you wanted. It’s not the thing you purchased because you couldn’t find the thing you wanted,” Oswald said.
