1. Denver Taco Festival 2018

What: Why wait until Tuesday when you can enjoy all the of the tacos this weekend at the Denver Taco Festival? Enjoy live music, Lucha Libre wrestling, high-speed daredevil Chihuahua dog racing, live game shows and much, much more!

2. South Platte RiverFest

What: The 6th annual South Platte RiverFest is moving back to Confluence Park this year so you can enjoy more water sports and other family-friendly activities such as stand-up paddleboard or kayak. There will also be live music, a food truck court and much more more.

3. Coors Light Presents: Westword Music Showcase 2018

What: The Westword Music Showcase is returning to the Golden Triangle this year. The 24th annual music festival promises to be better than ever, with national headliners as well as more local bands than you can probably hear in a day, performing at venues throughout the neighborhood.

4. Cherry Blossom Festival 

What: Held each year since 1972, the Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates the Japanese-American heritage and culture through live entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and informative exhibits and demonstrations. If you're attending, make sure to use the hashtag #CBFest2018.

5. The Book of Mormon at The Ellie Caulkins Opera House

What: One of the most highly acclaimed Broadway musicals of the decade is back in Denver due to popular demand! The musical comedy tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries who travel to Uganda to spread the teachings of their religion. The play, which had its first stage performance in 2011, mocks various Mormon beliefs and practices.

6. Michael Che at Paramount Theatre

7. Rugby: England vs. New Zealand at Sports Authority Field at Mile High
