1. The Ice Climbing World Cup Finals & Barbegazi Winter Festival is coming to Denver this weekend
What: For the first time in North America, the world’s top men and women ice climbers will compete for glory on a 50-foot-tall wall of sheer ice at the 2019 UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup Finals – and it’s all happening here in Denver!
Where: Denver’s Civic Center Park
When: Friday, Fe. 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 23 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 24 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

2. Denver Restaurant Week
What: The Mile High City’s biggest culinary event of the year has begun! From Feb. 22 through March 3, over 215 restaurants will delight the inquisitive palate of hungry Denverites with multi-course meals costing either $25, $35, and $45, depending on the restaurant you go to.

3. Make-A-Wish Colorado’s Wish Night
What: The power of a wish is a valuable thing especially for children battling critical illnesses and experiencing the uncertainty, pain and medical visits that go with the diagnosis. This Friday, ttendees will experience first-hand the true power of a wish at Make-A-Wish Colorado’s Wish Night, taking place in downtown Denver. Denver7’s Jason Gruenauer will emcee the event.

When: Friday, Feb. 22 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

4. Reptilian Nation Expo at the National Western Complex
What: Why have dogs or cats when you can own a lizard, a snake, a spider or a frog? Over 50 vendors/breeders will be in Denver this weekend to bring the largest reptilian expo of its kind. There will also be shows and exhibits.

When: Saturday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5. Check out the Broadway Market!
What: Denver’s latest food hall is opening Friday! Formerly a Tony’s Market location, the 15,000-square foot space will host a total of 13 different concepts including a chocolatier, a pasta company, a sushi place, Maria Empanada, a pizzeria, Biju’s Little Curry Shop and more.
Where: 950 Broadway in Denver.

6. Watch the Oscars with Denver7 at Alamo Drafthouse
What: Come hang out with some of your favorite local TV stars from Denver7 at the Alamo Drafthouse Oscars Watch party! There will be celebratory drinks and you are encouraged to dress your best for the event. Not enough? The Denver7 Oscars viewing party will also have a play-along game with a $50,000 grand prize.

7. Flock to the Denver Zoo this Sunday
What: In celebration of Feathered Friends February, a month-long celebration of all things birds, the Denver Zoo is offering half-price tickets online for guests! Visitors can enjoy zookeeper talks, bird demonstrations and more. These discounts only apply to tickets purchased online
