1. Go the Breckenridge or Copper Mountain and ski your heart out this weekend!

2. See the Denver Zoo’s lion cub Tatu for free this Friday
What: If you haven't been to the Zoo to see Tatu the lion cub yet, why not head out there this Friday? The Denver Zoo is waiving entrance fees before its free days end for the rest of the year. Did we forget to mention it’s also National Bison Day?

3. The largest exhibition of Claude Monet's paintings is now on exhibit at the Denver Art Museum
What: The biggest exhibition of Claude Monet’s paintings in more than two decades is now open – and lucky for you, you don’t have to travel far. Over 125 paintings of the French Impressionist’s career are now on display at the Denver Art Museum. Denver is the only city in the U.S. to host such a collection.

What: Now that Halloween’s over, it’s time to get ready for the holidays! The Colorado Country Christmas Gift Show offers a unique shopping experience for the whole family with gift ideas, arts and crats, ceramics, candles, toys and much more.

5. Salute our veterans at the Denver Veterans Parade and Festival
What: Join thousands of people as Denver comes together to celebrate and commemorate our nation’s heroes. The Denver Veterans Parade and Festival takes place Saturday, with the parade starting at 10 a.m. and ending at noon, and the festival starting at noon and ending at 3 p.m. A 5K and 10K run takes place Sunday.
