1. Want to party it up the whole weekend? Don't miss the 42nd annual SnowDown in Durango
What: If you like to party, you better make the drive to Durango for the 42nd annual SnowDown. Enjoy a Chickin Flickin’ Bucket Bonanza, take part in a hot wing eating contest, pub around for Mock and Roll, beat others during the SnowDown scavenger hunt, participate in Bomber Bowling, find your center with cat yoga, show your hip skills during the hula hoop contest, and stay for the SnowDown SlowDown Super Bowl 54 party.

What: Based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson, this musical brings to life the epic struggle about the nature of man. Dinner seating starts at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday through Saturday. Saturday and Sunday matinees start at 1:30 p.m.

4. An international cat show is coming to Brighton this weekend
What: For the love of cats! Join the Econo Cat Club this weekend to learn all about cats, quietly cheer on cat show contestants, and help raise money for Angels with Paws, a Lakewood shelter that works to rehoming sheltered felines. There will be a Cats 101 class which will teach cat owners everything they ever wanted to know about their pet. There will also be a raffle and food.

7. Love skateboarding and snowboarding? Head to Minturn to do both at the same time
What: If you weren’t aware of this (I certainly wasn’t!) there’s a sport out there that lets you skateboard on snow. Crazy, right?! Well, if you’re up for a fun challenge, head to Minturn. Registration starts at 2 p.m. and the Snowskate Open starts at 4 p.m. There will be an after party at the Minturn Saloon around 7 p.m. There will be cash prizes, food, a raffle, music by a local DJ and much more.
