DENVER – Four Denver restaurants have been included among the 100 "hottest" restaurants in America this year.
OpenTable released its list of the “Top 100 Hot Spots in America for 2017” based on people’s reviews and the selections are definitely something to brag about.
These are four Denver restaurants that made it to the list:
1.) Acorn – American (3350 Brighton Boulevard)
A restaurant within The Source, Acorn is under the direction of chef/owner Steven Redzikowski’s “eclectic contemporary American cooking” in Denver’s RiNo District.
FYI, Redzikowski is competing for Best Chef Award in the final round of the 2017 James Beard Awards.

2.) Mercantile Dining & Provision – American (1701 Wynkoop Street)
Alex Seidel wanted to create Denver’s first restaurant offering sophisticated comfort food and so was born Mercantile Dining & Provision.

3.) Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox – Contemporary American (1215 20th Street)
This “gastro brothel” features vegetable-forward, globally-inspired dishes and a live music venue.

4.) Root Down - American (1600 West 33rd Avenue)
Root Down serves “globally-influenced seasonal cuisine,” which according to the owners, it means they go “where inspiration leads us.”
