Jordan Chavez is the weekday anchor for Denver7 Morning News.
He is a multi-Emmy award-winning journalist and has spent nearly the last decade covering Colorado and the issues that matter to the people who call this state home.
From physical fitness to mental health, Jordan places a big emphasis on health and wellness. He loves researching more ways to improve his own life and help others do the same.
Jordan has long been a trusted voice in covering some of the biggest stories to impact Colorado as well as a positive force for bringing communities together through hosting parades and emceeing many charity fundraisers.
Outside of work, you’ll most often find Jordan outdoors – whether he’s spending time in his garden or out on a hike with his two dogs, Watson and Ollie. Jordan met his partner, Kaleb, here in Colorado, who grew up in Windsor.
Jordan is dedicated to working with nonprofit groups focused on bettering access for mental health resources.
