Looking for some fun and free entertainment for your kids this spring? JCPenney has three free craft events for March, April and May that will see your kids making everything from a door ornament to a “Trolls”-themed craft and a Mother’s Day present.

First up is a magical guardian door ornament on March 14. While JCPenney doesn’t explain how it will be made, it looks like kids can choose from either a unicorn or knight.

Next up is a “Trolls” themed craft day on April 11. It looks like it could making be a headband with a shock of troll hair on top and pair of glasses.

Lastly is a craft for Mother’s Day inspired by Wonder Woman. This craft appears to include a letter for mom and a Wonder Woman logo on a zippered bag that kids will color with markers.

Kids who participate in these free Kids Zone events will get to complete and keep their free craft project, and they’ll also get a free lanyard and collector’s pin. Once they complete six projects, they’ll also receive a master medallion.

These activities are designed for school-aged kids and are not toddler crafts. All kids must be accompanied by an adult. The events run from 11 a.m. – noon.

While you do have to stay with your child while they are crafting, afterward, you can score an extra 10% off coupon to use in-store on the day of the event. The coupon can be stacked with any other offers or coupons you may have, so your crafting day can be a shopping day, too.

Michaels is also having some fun and free craft days for your little ones the week of March 8-13.

From an adorable bee made with paper, pipe cleaners, Popsicle sticks and googly eyes to a pom pom Caterpillar, “stained-glass” kite, beaded butterfly and friendship bracelets, your kids will have something fun to make every day of the week.

Supplies for all of these craft events will be provided at no cost. Most of the crafts are for ages 3 and up.
