The current recommendations for staying home during the coronavirus pandemic mean that many of us aren’t able to access our favorite frozen treats and blended drinks from places like Starbucks. But rest assured, there are plenty of ways to create delicious treats from the safety of your own home.
If you’ve seen the internet lately, you’ll know that whipped coffee (or dalgona coffee, made by whipping together sugar, instant coffee and boiling water) has been having a major moment. And now, clever social media foodies are taking the whipped creation to the next level with Nutella.
Topped with Kinder Bueno minis and including a Nutella-dipped rim, Nutella whipped milk is a decadent treat that will make you forget all about your cabin fever. The drink consists of a few ingredients whipped together until fluffy and then spooned over icy milk.

As you can see, it takes just minutes to prepare dalgona coffee, and adding Nutella is a no-brainer if you love sweet, rich, creamy coffee. With simple staples like heavy whipping cream, sugar and instant coffee, you can whip up this trendy drink in no time.
Looking for something a little more low-calorie? Instagram user @fitwaffle also created a “protein whipped coffee,” featuring calorie-free Flavdrops in the hazelnut flavor.

And if you want your kids to get in on the fun, you can make strawberry whipped milk, which has no caffeine.
All you need is strawberry Nesquik and heavy whipping cream … and a little bit of elbow grease for whipping the ingredients into fluffy peaks.
Then, pour your whipped strawberry concoction over a glass of your favorite kind of milk. You can also dip the rim of the glass in the strawberry powder to make it extra pretty and sweet. Use honey or agave syrup to make the powder stick to the rim.
