NEW YORK -- Readers who devoured the latest Harry Potter play released as a book have nothing to fear -- J.K. Rowling has more to write about the wizarding world.

Rowling, the renowned author who penned the Harry Potter series, announced she will release a digital series of short books.

The announcement spread like wildfire on Wednesday after pictures were published to Pottermore, where the books will be sold for $3.99 each.

Titled "Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists," "Short Stories from Hogwarts" and "Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide," the books will be released in short-story form online on Sept. 6.

For Rowling, the books are bound to be another success, if interest in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was any indicator. The book had record sales in a flagging industry.
