Glenn Miller, the American big band leader and musician best known for his songs "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and "Moonlight Serenade," will be inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
The Daily Camera reports that an induction ceremony is planned for April 16 at the University of Colorado Boulder's Glenn Miller Ballroom.
Miller attended Fort Morgan High School and UC-Boulder. His recording of "Chattanooga Choo Choo" sold more than 1.2 million copies in 1942 and was among the first gold records.
Besides Miller, Lannie Garrett, Paul Whiteman, Max Morath, Billy Murray, and Elizabeth Spencer will also be among the inductees.
