Blue Star Weekend at Centennial Airport
What: Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum host this special event honoring veterans and mothers of veterans. Get up-close to classic WWII warbirds such as the P-51 Mustang, the B-25 Mitchell and more, hear pilot briefings and veteran stories, see WWII memorabilia and re-enactors, plus a kiddie airport and pedal plans. Also, this is your chance to tour the Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast,” one of the few remaining airworthy B-17s from WWI (additional fee and reservation required.)

Plus, the festival will also feature workshop topics including chocolate and wine pairing and cooking with chocolate.
