Colorado Eagles vs. Utah Grizzlies – Western Conference Playoffs

What: It’s ECHL Playoff Hockey!  The Colorado Eagles take on the Utah Grizzlies in round one of the 2016 playoffs.  Be a part of the action and cheer on our ECHL hometown hockey team. 

Where: Budweiser Event Center, 5290 Arena Circle, Loveland, Colo.

When: Game 1 – Thursday: 7:05 p.m. and Game 2 - Sunday: 7:05 p.m.

Douglas County Home and Outdoor Living Show

What: Planning to remodel, update or simply need help finishing your honey-do list?  This first-ever southern suburb show will be your one-stop-shop, your chance to visit with companies ready to introduce new technologies and trends in home improvements and landscaping. There will be no excuses after attending this show.

Where:  Douglas County Fairgrounds, 500 Fairgrounds Drive, Castle Rock, Colo.

Becoming Butterflies at CU Museum of Natural History

What:  Becoming Butterflies is the fascinating new exhibit at the CU Museum of Natural History that examines the lifecycle of this captivating insect.  See brilliant images and displays of butterflies, learn how butterflies impact our lives, take on the role of biologist studying butterflies through hands-on activities, and more.  This exhibit can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages.

Where: University of Colorado Museum of Natural History, Henderson Building, 15th and Broadway, Boulder, Colo.

Celestial Seasonings Factory Tour

What: Did you know you can tour Colorado’s very own Celestial Seasonings Factory for free?  Factory tours run every hour Monday through Sunday.  And every tour includes a whiff of the Mint Room, guaranteed to clear any stuffy nose.  Afterwards, be sure to visit the sampling bar with over 100 kinds of tea to taste.  Note that kids must be at least 5 years old to tour the factory floor.

Rodeo All-Star Weekend

What: Watch as the nation’s top-ranked cowboys and cowgirls compete in this ultimate pro rodeo competition.  The festival atmosphere will also include a chance to meet the rodeo stars, Mutton Bustin’, mechanical bull riding, live music, plus vendors and interactive exhibits.

Earth Day Celebration

What: What’s your footprint?  Come learn how to make more sustainable choices through demonstrations and interactive art projects at this free, family-friendly Earth Day celebration.  The kids will also enjoy the climbing wall, crafts, and other fun activities.  This event will occur rain or shine.
