The City of Fountain says that fire crews were able to contain the fire, prevent further spread, and are conducting mop-up operations.
There were no reported injuries or damages to any structures.
Acreage is estimated at two acres.

Evacuation orders have been issued for homes on the east side of Jordan Road in Fountain from the north intersection of Jordan Road and Old Pueblo Road to the south intersection of Jordan Road and Old Pueblo Road.
If you are in this area, you are ordered to evacuate now.

The Aspen Acres Fire continues to rage out of control, growing to over 47,000 acres with zero containment. New mandatory evacuations have been issued for the Red Creek area as the fire threatens thousands of structures across multiple counties.
