Welcome to the witching hour! The reboot of “The Craft” is finally complete, and the movie is going to be available to stream on-demand just in time for Halloween.

Fans of the 1996 cult-favorite have been eagerly anticipating this reboot for a while now, and we finally have a release date: “The Craft: Legacy” will be available on Oct. 28. In the meantime, we also have the first trailer for the new film.

With a bone-chilling cover of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” playing in the background, the trailer follows Hannah (Cailee Spaeny) as she moves to a new town and discovers her magic abilities. Similar to the original film, she makes friends with a trio of misfit girls at her high school who are much more powerful than they initially seem.

Another echo from the original: Hannah’s powers grow at an alarming rate, concerning the rest of the coven. Amid that moment, the trailer shows a photo of Fairuza Balk’s frightfully wicked Nancy in “The Craft,” linking the reboot to the original.

The reboot was written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, who is best known for her roles as Fawn Moscato in “New Girl” and Jen in “Life in Pieces.” She also wrote the rom-com “Lola Versus” and wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the critically acclaimed film “Band Aid.”

The girl-power movie is perfect for Lister-Jones, who has been an advocate for diversity and equity in Hollywood and getting more women behind the camera.

In the past, she has talked about how working with women has been such a rewarding and successful experience for her. She hired an all-female camera crew for “Band Aid.”

“Working with women is so quiet and hyper-efficient,” Lister-Jones said in an interview with Healthyish. “It was a very cohesive, communicative, patient and kind set. It’s unquantifiable to explain — it just felt different.”

Star Michelle Monaghan, who plays Hannah’s mom, said that “The Craft” production was full of positive female energy.

“To get to work with fresh new voices, like Zoe, with an all female cast, a female DP [director of photography], and a female producer — that was really refreshing, to get to have that experience,” the actor told Collider.

The Craft” remake is being produced by Blumhouse, which has given us other ghoulish Halloween favorites like “Insidious” and “Paranormal Activity” and the upcoming “Halloween 2” reboot.
