Cookies And Creme Twix Are Making A Comeback

It’s official: Cookies and Creme Twix are returning to shelves! Starting in January 2020, you can find this retro flavor available to take home.

Twix fans of a certain age may recall that Cookies and Creme Twix were a thing back in the early 1990s. That’s right: Twix bars used to come in a few different flavors, and cookies and creme was one of the most popular.

Sadly, this twist on the traditional Twix only existed for a few years before the company retired the option.

As the company tweeted recently, however, the flavor will be making a comeback as of January 2020:

Finally, after years of begging the brand to bring back the cookies and creme flavor, Twix is proving to fans that dreams really do come true!

As first reported by @junkfoodleaks on Instagram, Twix is going to make a mini version of the former fan-favorite.

The social media account gave the new Twix cookies and creme a positively glowing review.

“When I tell you that these things are as light as a feather, I mean it,” the Instagram caption reads. “These are certified DANGEROUS; They’re crunchy, light, packed with flavor, and have just the right amount of chocolatey-cookie flavor. They’re probably one of the most balanced flavors of Twix ever, as you enjoy everything the classic Twix has to offer, in addition to a whole different flavor profile within.”

Wow, those do sound dangerous!

And because they’re dropping January of next year, these bad boys will be available just in time to ruin all our 2020 healthy eating resolutions … but the combination of nostalgia and Twix goodness is simply too potent to ignore.
