DENVER – Opioid addiction is a growing problem that continues to affect communities nationwide and in Colorado.
Preliminary numbers show that there were 959 drug overdose deaths in Colorado in 2017 and opioids accounted for 37 percent of those deaths, according to the Colorado Department of Human Services.
