Nothing says summer like sipping an ice-cold margarita — but if you’re like me, a good deal makes them taste even better.

And if you have a Chili’s near you, you’re about to get a deal that will seriously make your summer: their $5 monthly margarita program has officially returned!

In restaurants now, Chili’s Grand Sunset ‘Rita is only $5 through the end of August. The margarita (which indeed does look like a sunset!) is made with Grand Marnier, Lanazul Tequila, Monin Desert Pear syrup, orange juice and Chili’s fresh sour mix.

That isn’t the only deal available from Chili’s this summer. If you head there on Friday, July 24, you’ll actually find three margaritas for just $5 each to celebrate National Tequila Day.

Along with The Grand Sunset, you’ll also be able to get their Presidente and Dreamy Frosé Rita for just $5 all day long.

The Presidente Margarita is hand-shaken 25 times with Sauza Conmemorativo Tequila, Patrón Citrónge orange liquor, E&J Brandy and Chili’s sweet and sour mix. The Frosé Rita is made with The Dreaming Tree rosé, Svedka vodka, strawberry purée and rosé.

If you live in an area that is allowing to-go cocktails due to the pandemic, you can get the $5 margaritas to go and enjoy them at home. You will need to check with your local Chili’s to see if that is offered.

If you will be dining in, Chili’s says employees are required to wear face masks and are disinfecting all surfaces every 30 minutes. Dining rooms are not open in every state, so you will need to check your location.

If you don’t want to go out to eat or don’t have a Chili’s near you, you can, of course, whip up your own margaritas.

Take a look at these seven margarita cocktail recipes if you’re wanting some unique flavors. And if you want any of them frozen, just grab a blender, add ice and blend until they’ve reached the desired consistency.
