Ready to level up your breakfast game? Cap’n Crunch and Aunt Jemima have teamed up to roll out two new products that are about to make your morning meal a whole lot more colorful: Cap’n Crunch’s Berrytastic Pancake Mix and Cap’n Crunch’s Ocean Blue Maple Flavored Syrup.

According to a press release, the power combo courtesy of the Quaker Oats Company will be available at Walmart stores across the United States starting later this month.

The pancake mix includes flavorful and colorful Crunch Berry-inspired bits, and the Ocean Blue Maple Flavored Syrup is a “classically sweet topping with a playful burst of Cap’n Crunch blue,” the release said.

“For the first time ever, the Quaker Oats Co. is teaming up with two of its timeless brands, Cap’n Crunch and Aunt Jemima, for a new breakfast adventure and the perfect addition to your pancake board,” parent company PepsiCo told Food Business News.

Word has it that the blue syrup tastes just like original Aunt Jemima syrup, so it’ll go great with Cap’n Crunch pancakes or any other pancakes you wish to pour it over!

Instagrammer @junkbanter posted a shot of the pancake mix a few weeks ago and provided details on how easy it is to make:

“Remember when they had a Pancake Cap’n Crunch?” reads the caption. “Well now they have Cap’n Crunch Pancake Mix! Coming soon (or at least eventually): Cap’n Crunch’s Berrytastic Pancake Mix, from the makers of Aunt Jemima. The pancake mix has ‘flavored bits’ to add a Crunch Berry flavor to your pancakes. All you gotta do is add water, which is where my culinary skills stop.”

Yum! Will you give this new pancake and syrup combo a try?

Interestingly, this is not the only Cap’n Crunch pancake offering to debut recently. Through April 12, breakfast chain IHOP is now offering several new pancake and milkshake flavors based on popular cereals, including Crunch Berries Pancakes, which are served with blue vanilla sparkle sauce, Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Cereal and whipped topping.

You can also nab Fruity Lucky Charms Pancakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pancakes and milkshakes based on these flavors as well.

Or you can make your own totally homemade version of these pancakes! The blog Big Oven has a recipe for Cap’n Crunch Pancakes that’s a bit more involved than the ready-made version, but certainly sounds delicious as well.

Will you add Cap’n Crunch pancakes to your breakfast rotation?
