2021 is finally looking up. Doritos has just brought back their cult-classic Tangy Pickle flavored chips!
We first got to experience Tangy Pickle Doritos last year. But they were only on store shelves for a limited time. And, while the good news is that they are back, the bad news is that the chips may be a bit hard for you to find. Tangy Pickle Doritos are only going to be available at select stores in regional markets (for $1.99 for a 2.75-ounce bag and $4.29 for a 9.25-ounce bag, according to Taste of Home).
You can also try ordering them online from Snacks.com, but you better move fast, because the site has limited stock and once they’re gone … they’re gone! Note that you have to make a $15 minimum order in order for the sale to go through.
A post from the official Doritos Twitter account noted that only about 1,000 bags were made available on Aug. 9:

Over the years, there have been over 100 different kinds of Doritos. Many of these flavors have been discontinued, but there are still lots of other varieties to choose from, from the healthier options like Simply Organic Spicy White Cheddar Flavored Tortilla Chips to the intense but delectable options like Jacked Ranch Dipped Hot Wing flavor or Dinamita Chile Limón Flavored Rolled Tortilla Chips.
Or try the new Doritos Tangy Ranch flavor. Beware that opinions are mixed, with some Doritos lovers’ saying they’re A-OK, while others could do without.

While Tangy Ranch might be a controversial new flavor, Doritos fans are pretty much in agreement that Tangy Pickle Doritos are just what the doctor ordered.

If you’re having trouble getting your paws on the new Tangy Pickle Doritos, you might be able to snag a bag through an Instagram contest Doritos is holding, which involves commenting on this post.
You might also enjoy other pickle-flavored finds, like Zapp’s Voodoo Batter Fried Pickles, which were released last year and are available at Walmart. It’s the perfect blend of pickle flavor with Zapp’s iconic Voodoo flavor chips as the crispy batter.
Or you could jump on the pickle bandwagon in other ways. Buy some pickle-flavored vodka from Chilled Dills. Get some pickle-flavored lip balm or some pickle-flavored candy. Make yourself a pickletini or bake up some pickle cupcakes to eat with those Doritos.
No wonder it is estimated that the global pickle and pickle products market will reach $15 million by 2026. All hail the mighty pickle!
